Pasquier is a unique retailer: an independent “destination” supermarket that is truly local and full-service yet offers something for the foodie and those looking for a bargain. Given that Pasquier’s founder, Viateur Paquette, started as a farmer, then became a butcher and eventually a grocer speaks to their unparalleled understanding of food. In fact, they even have their own meat packing plant supplying local restaurants….and Costco!
Cayuga had many collaborative discussions with the Pasquier team, clarifying the quality, aesthetic and features they wanted in their salad and soup bars, and produce tables. Not only is Pasquier exacting in their standards for the food they sell, they are most exacting when it comes to their display equipment!
Taking the time to clarify specifications, sending samples for approval, and communication meetings all helped in a very successful result. Mario Paquette is especially pleased with the quality of the Cayuga product (speaks to the Pasquier quality image). The fact everything rolled off the truck and set-up easily was icing on the cake!
